      Il progetto prevedeva il recupero architettonico dell’ “ascensore di carico e zona industriale funzionante”, ed inoltre il recupero di ogni fase lavorativa dell’antica attività. Il progetto trasforma fisicamente e concettualmente i tre attori principali: ascensore di carico, nave e magazzino. “Trasbordare” significa portare i bordi sulla terra. L’idea è quella di “trasmettere” alla comunità ciò che non ha mai avuto nel passato, “trasmutare” da uso produttivo ad uso ricreativo, da abbandono a recupero, da inutile e precario a comunità utile e sicura. “Trasmettere” è la formula dell’idea di tutto il progetto. L’“ascensore di carico” viene trasbordato a terra. Nella nuova posizione mantiene tutte le sue parti fisiche, le sue dimensioni e la sua vera materia: è LUI. E non ultimo: tutte le fasi della lavorazione storica vengono mantenute nel futuro per trasmettere la memoria di questa pagina della storia produttiva di Ravenna.

      The project expected the architectural recovery of the “loading elevator and industrial area working”, and furthermore the recovery every working step of the ancient activity. The project transform physically and conceptually the three main actors. LOADING ELEVATOR, SHIP AND WAREHOUSE. Transship means bringing edge-to-earth. The idea is to “transfer” to the community what they never had in the pass, transfer from productive use to leisure use, transfer from abandonement to recover, transfer from useless and insecure to community useful and safe. Transfer is the formula of the all idea project. The “loading elevator” is transferred to the ground. In the new position, it maintains all its physical parts, its size and its true matter: It is HIM. And not last: all steps of the historical working are mantained in the future to transmit the memory of this page of Ravenna production history.
